Gabriele Plate - escultura
The massive body of high-fired sculptures (1850 degrees C) are formed from gres (clay and fireclay).
Most of the works are completed with welded iron elements. These arrangements usually accentuate a symbolic waiting position or a particular action.
Oversized feet and hands, strikingly small heads and individual muscle groups transmit, at first glance, a rough represented strength. This impression disappears at a closer look, as frailness and humanness is hidden behind the massiveness.
